Join the Governor’s Community Walk – 17 June 2025
We’re excited to share that the Governor of Queensland, in partnership with Health and Wellbeing Queensland, is hosting a free Community Walk along the Cairns Esplanade on Tuesday 17 June.
This event supports the Governor’s commitment to improving the health and well-being of Queenslanders, with a scenic walk from the water fountain opposite 1 Pierpoint Road to the Cenotaph and back. The walk steps off at 4:00pm sharp.
Students, staff, families and friends are all warmly invited to take part – it’s a great way to get active together and create healthier communities.
