Welcome to Trinity Bay State High School.
It is a pleasure to welcome you to our ‘T-Bay Family’. Trinity Bay State High School is a vibrant, inclusive and dynamic learning environment where young people are challenged, supported and inspired to be their very best. Every day, I see students and staff working together in ways that reflect our shared commitment to excellence, care and opportunity.
At Trinity Bay, we believe education is about more than academic success alone. We are committed to developing graduates who leave our school as respectful, resilient and responsible young adults, equipped with the skills and mindset to be lifelong learners. Our students are encouraged to think critically, embrace diversity and contribute positively—not only within our school, but also to the Cairns community and the wider world.
I am incredibly proud of the success of our graduates. Many of our students transition into university, training or the workforce with outstanding results, and we consistently see success across both academic and vocational pathways. Yet, what matters most to me is that our students leave Trinity Bay with strong values, confidence in themselves, and a genuine sense of purpose and belonging.
Our school offers a rich and diverse curriculum supported by an exceptional range of extracurricular opportunities. Over time, Trinity Bay has developed a strong reputation in areas such as science, performing and visual arts, public speaking and debating, business studies and sport. These opportunities allow students to discover their passions, develop their talents and challenge themselves beyond the classroom.
Trinity Bay State High School is proud of its diverse and inclusive community, welcoming students from a wide range of backgrounds from local, regional, interstate and international settings. Our size and diversity are among our greatest strengths, enabling students to experience a school that reflects the real world—one that values relationships, collaboration and mutual respect.
As Principal, it is deeply rewarding to lead a school where students are known, supported and encouraged; where staff are committed to continuous improvement; and where families and community partners play an important role in shaping our success. Together, we are preparing young people not only for future pathways, but for meaningful, values‑driven lives.
I look forward to working with you all as you connect with our school and community.
