​Japan trip​

  • This is a biennial two-week spring tour of Japan open to year 11 and 12 students studying Japanese.
  • Students, with their Japanese teachers, travel through Japan visiting traditional and modern sites, large cities, mountain villages and seaside towns.
  • The final few days are spent in homestay and school, where students are completely immersed in Japanese language situations.

China trip

  • This is a biannual study tour to China. Students learn Chinese from homestay and in-school immersion program, experience traditional, historical and contemporary China through visual arts, performing arts and tours.
  • Highlights of the tour: terror Cotta Warrior, Great Wall, Forbidden City and Shanghai River cruise.

New Zealand Ski Trip​

  • Trinity Bay State High runs a ski trip to New Zealand's South Island every second year for a select number of year 11 and 12 students. The 2023 trip will be taking place during the first 10 days of the 2023 June holidays.
  • The ski trip is always a highlight of the students' senior years.
  • It is always a lot of fun with skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, jet boating and a range of other fun snow activities, as well as sightseeing and cultural experiences.
  • Students must be in year 11 or 12 and have excellent behaviour and attendance with no outstanding assessment.​
