Year 10 students will soon be learning about subjects that are available for them to select in Year 11, 2026. The first stage of our subject selection process is to have students select any of the subjects that they would prefer. This is called our “Year 11 Subject Selection Smorgasbord.” After that we will review this information to decide which subjects have enough students to run in 2026 and what combination of subjects we need to offer. In order to provide students and parents/carers with all of the information required to make informed decisions, we hold a Parent Information Evening.
Monday evening, 21st July at 5.00pm – 6:30pm, is the Year 10 into 11 Parent Information Evening, for ALL Year 10 parents/carers and students. From 5.00pm to 5.30pm there will be a presentation and an opportunity to ask questions. From 5.30pm to 6.30pm, staff from all the faculties will be available to provide information and address any of your questions as well as representatives from JCU, TAFE, FNQ Vocational Academy/Shoreline, Busy School and Smart Apprenticeship Solutions.
