Hello and welcome to Trinity Bay State High School's Website.

Our school is a vibrant and exciting place with something happening all the time.

We pride ourselves on offering an extensive academic curriculum such that students can encounter many opportunities to find success and excel. In addition the school has an outstanding range of extra curricula activities that keep students motivated and challenged.

We have a strong tradition of excellence in teaching and caring for students, going back to 1960 when the school was founded. As a result our school community has a strong sense of pride in itself and its students. We have high expectations of students and reinforce tradition values based on respect for self and others.

It is gratifying to me as a principal to see many students successfully graduating from our school and progressing on to work or further study. Our students have excelled academically with excellent university entry rates. Many have consistently won vocational training awards, however all graduate with a strong set of values and with skills and talents that will ensure a fruitful life.

Our school prides itself on the many excellence opportunities it affords its students. Over the years the school has built a profile in Science, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Public Speaking, Business Studies and Sport. However most areas within the curriculum offer that something extra to extend students.

Trinity Bay has a heart that cares for its students, this includes the profoundly deaf, visually impaired and speech language impaired. Outstanding work is done with these students along with our Intensive English as a Second Language Centre.

The strength of Trinity Bay as a school lies with its people. We have some of the best teachers in the state at Trinity Bay. Many have been recognised over the years as exceptional in their field. In addition many staff send their own children to the school and thus want to create the best possible learning environment. Parents at the school are very supportive with an active P&C and strong opinion survey results.

Trinity Bay offers a disciplined learning environment in which students encounter numerous excellence sporting, recreational, cultural and international programs. Students are encouraged to bring out their individual talents, explore new areas of undiscovered talent and to strive to their best. We have high expectations for our students.
