50th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS: 17 -19 September 2010
Trinity Bay SHS has a strong focus on academic success.
This has been achieved by the Senior Debating Team and at the Junior Eisteddfod. Trinity Bay SHS students have also gained places in the writing competition and in the regional bursary for writing.
Students have also gained recognition in many fields, ranging from outstanding sporting achievements such as representing Australia in the Schoolboys' Hockey Team, winning the Minister's Art Award and the State Business Plan Competition.
The school has a vibrant curriculum which offers its students tremendous opportunities to pursue their interests and to experience success.
One of these is the Endeavour Awards, which is unique to Trinity Bay SHS. This innovative scheme enables students to strive for Gold, Silver or Bronze Awards in academic, sporting, cultural or community service endeavours.
Another dimension to the enrichment of students at the school is the Mentoring and Extension Programs. This incentive program is complemented by fascinating after school workshops and in class competitions, science expos, art shows, drama workshops and many other great programs.
Students at Trinity Bay SHS are involved in tasks such as game programming, monitoring world climate, using a digital editing suite, using advanced photographic techniques and creating digital art using professional graphics packages.
Students use the technology of today to shape their lives of tomorrow.
The school also has a tradition of supporting the local community and charities. The Red Cross, the Salvation Army, the Cancer Fund and many others value the school's contribution and, in return, help students to become good citizens.
Trinity Bay SHS, established in 1960, has built a reputation as a great place to learn
